Goverment Launched Damini App Who Alert You | Now your phone will predict before lightning. You can get information about this before the lightning strikes. Experts from the Indian Meteorological Department and IIT Pune have created an app, which is being advised to adopt the Meteorological Department. The Meteorological Center of Raipur has suggested the use of ‘Damini App’ which alerts from celestial lightning.
This app alerts 30 to 40 minutes before lightning strikes. It can be avoided to a great extent from loss of life. This app warns that lightning is about to fall and you should move away from this area or go inside. This app can be of great help to the general public as well as the state government.

Goverment Launched Damini App Who Alert You. Meteorologist HP Chandra of Raipur Meteorological Center told that this app will alert you before lightning strikes. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store to any smart phone. After downloading the app, it traces your location through Google. If the lightning is going on within a radius of 40 kilometers or if the lightning is about to fall, then this app will tell you.
